All the locations are based on the maps at Nick.com and a map that was in an old issue of Nick Magazine.

Done in Photoshop with vector layers with layer styles. yay.

Not really. The only thing that took awhile was waiting for nick.com to update with the locations. Even then, they failed when it came to some of the third season. (they put the Western Air Temple right next to the Fire Nation Capital)
