Man, every venture into the fandom I find out about a new ship for Avatar. Despite this being a non-romantic pic... I can't help but get a Brokeback Mountain vibe. And no, that's not a generalized euphemism for homosexuality.

Well, that's true. But there is a difference between ships people think would be amusing or 'hot' and ones people 'invest' themselves in. I suppose there are some weirder ones though that people invest in.
