now I'm sure there's some fun story as to why he's got a DaiLi hat... maybe something involving them trying to make Smellerbee into a JooDee...
I mean, the whole point of the DaiLi is "Not Seen, Not Heard" well, Longshot's definitely got the second part down.

I originally wanted to make him look a little bit more like Strongbow (the silent archer type from Elfquest that I'm certain was the inspiration) but then I remembered how much I don't like Strongbow's sense of fashion. And I've already given too many characters goatees.

the dai li hat is a war trophy. keeping the head would have been too inconvenient, as heads ted to get smelly when separated from their bodies after very long. 8D :heart:

Another ElfQuest fan! ♥ I love it when other people compair him to Strongbow, mostly because it means other people know who Strongbow is! ^__^

Yeah, I'm not sure at what point I realized Strongbow's not wearing any pants. I think it was the first time I drew him, and then I was all, "Waitasec..."

I like Longshot's new look! Especially the smexy lace up boots!
