Thnx, it would appear the moss wins out unanimously.

16 colors (like all the rest of my avatarsd background plates) I can tweak the existing colors a bit, but not add any.

This is for the two training fights with Katara, and Zuko's fight with the pirates.

The rocks/arch look slightly plain without the moss, I prefer the top image :)

In a realistic perspective, moss would be on both, but less so on the top of the arch, since moss grows most in wet places, and the most wet they'd have would be near the bottom areas. Then again, constantly beating water would wear away some of that too. But, I do think that you should definitely have the moss, in either scenario.^_^

I like the moss, makes it more interesting. Why would it grow on the arch but not the rocks?

I rather like the moss- it gives the rocks more "character"- you know, for rocks. =]

Moss is more likley on the rocks and lower part of the arch, because this is where the water could rise to or reach. But at the same time it looks too bare on the top part without moss.

So yeah. Moss all the way.
